When it comes to Sustainability, Asphalt performs.
Environment & Sustainability
Asphalt is a durable, recyclable, and cost-effective material typically made from 95% stone/sand bound by bitumen, and usually lasting 15–30 years with proper maintenance.
The recommended time to sealcoat your driveway or parking lot is every 3-5 years to maintain its appearance and durability.
Asphalt is typically hardened enough to walk on after 24 hours, but vehicles should stay off for at least 2–3 days to avoid damaging it. Full curing can take up to a year.

Warm mix asphalt pavements are designed, produced, constructed and maintained to reuse materials to conserve natural resources and deliver the long-lasting smooth ride the drivers demand.
In fact, each year, nearly 80 million tons of reclaimed asphalt pavement is used in new roads and parking lots.
Performance
When it comes to sustainability asphalt performs excellently. Asphalt takes 20% less energy to produce and construct than other pavement types and asphalt pavements are 100% reusable.
That’s almost 15,000 Olympic sized swimming pools of material that’s not going into our landfills. Recycling asphalt saves US taxpayers more than 2.2 billion dollars annually but that’s not all. Asphalt smoothness means lower maintenance cost per mile.
A range of technologies allows warm mix asphalt to be produced at lower temperatures cutting the use of fuel in the production process and decreasing the production of greenhouse gases.
Create Sustainable
Maintenance and long-term use is a benefit to businesses and residents as well.
That’s why we say when it comes to sustainability asphalt performs.
